Miguel Scheroff ha vuelto y, de nuevo, nos ha dejado boquiabiertos. Antes fue el mural (no sólo), ahora la exposición que tenemos en el sótano de nuestra recepción, nuestra nueva sala de exposiciones, inaugurada en 2019 con Barbara Stammel.
La obra expuesta forma parte de la serie Dehesa, inspirada en la dehesa ibérica y compuesta por 15 pinturas de diferentes tamaños y técnicas (óleo y carboncillo) así como una instalación hecha en poliester, escayola y óleo que acompaña a una de las pinturas.
Una serie que nos adentra en los paisajes de la dehesa jienense y nos muestra los animales que la habitan, desde caballos, hasta linces, toros, ciervos y buitres, con todas su crudeza y con toda su belleza. Y con esos ojos tan expresivos siempre presentes en la obra de Miguel Scheroff
Miguel Scheroff is back and once again, we’re speechless. First, it was the wall painting (and not only) and now, the exhibition down in the basement of our reception, in our new exhibition hall, inaugurated by Barbara Stammel in 2019.
The artworks belong to the series «Dehesa» (meadow), inspired by the iberian meadow and consisting of 15 paintings in different sizes and techniques (oil and charcoal) and an installation made of poliester, oil and plaster that accompanies one of the paintings.
A series that enters us in the landscapes of the meadows of Jaén (Andalusia) and shows us the animals that live there: horses, bulls, lynx, deers, vultures,.. with all their harshness and beauty. And with those expressive eyes that are always present at Miguel’s work.
