Somos una residencia para artistas que forma parte de un complejo de 70 bungalows llamado Nautilus Lanzarote y que está ubicado en Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote, Islas Canarias. Las señas de identidad de Nautilus Lanzarote son el Arte, la Accesibilidad y el Medioambiente y todos nuestros huéspedes coinciden en que somos un lugar en el que se respira paz y tranquilidad.
Empezamos a invitar a artistas en 2004 y desde entonces han pasado por la residencia más de 100 artistas de 20 nacionalidades y diferentes disciplinas tales como pintura, escultura, música, fotografía, performance, … aportando al complejo una personalidad única.
ESPACIO Y MEDIOS
La residencia cuenta con dos habitaciones, baño y aseo, cocina, salón, patio interior, terraza y estudio y tiene wifi.
En el estudio/taller habitualmente (no siempre) hay este tipo de material/herramientas: Lienzos, surtido de colores al óleo y acrílico, esmaltes y barnices, gesso, colas, barras de óleo, pasteles, lápices de dibujo, carboncillo, ceras manley y otro surtido de amplia variedad cromática, paletinas, pinceles y brochas de variado tamaño, mediums y disolventes, cinta de carrocero y celofán, barniz en spray, bastidores de variados formatos y dimensiones, papel continuo para óleo, pistola de cola, maza, algunas herramientas, guantes de látex, platos de plástico y cerámica, vasos de plástico y botes de vidrio.
We are a residence for artists that belongs to a 4 star bungalow resort called Nautilus Lanzarote and located in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain. Nautilus Lanzarote’s identity is based on Art, Accessibility and Environment and all our guests agree that the place is a haven of peace.
We started inviting artists in 2004 and more than 100 artists from 20 nationalities and different disciplines such as painting, sculpture, photograph, performance and even music, have have stayed at the residence since then, giving a unique personality to the resort.
SPACE AND TOOLS
The residence is a double apartment that counts with a studio, kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, one bathroom, additional toilet with WC, private terrace and internal patio, and it counts with wifi too.
Material and tools that are usually (not always) available at the studio: Canvases, acrylic and oil colors, varnish, gesso, glue, oil sticks, pastels, pencils, charcoal, manley wax crayons, small palettes, different size paint brushes, mediums and solvents, masking tape, cellophane, spray varnish, different size and format frames, continuous paper, glue gun, mace, other tools, latex gloves, plastics and ceramics dishes, plastic cups, glass jars
